Dental Patient Safety in McMinnville

Dental Care Delivered with Your Safety in Mind

From the team at Wark Dental Group, we want you to know that we’re working tirelessly to ensure your health and happiness are a top priority. After all, you’re part of our family. We want to reassure you that we never compromise when it comes to your health and safety. Now, more than ever, we’re taking every step possible, both big and small, to ensure you and your family are protected and secure.

When things become uncertain, there’s one thing you can rely on, and that’s us. We’re ensuring that our office is a safe, sanitized place you and your family can depend on for focused dental care tailored to your needs. We’re taking every precaution possible both in the office and in our personal lives because, as our patients, your health (and your smile) is always on our minds.

What About My Appointment?

Our procedures have changed at the office due to COVID-19. When we call to confirm your appointment, we will also be making sure you’ve not had or are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or other flu-like symptoms. Once inside, you’ll be escorted to your treatment room. After that, you’ll be asked to rinse for 60 seconds with hydrogen peroxide while washing your hands. In the treatment room, you’ll be asked to sign a waiver and any necessary paperwork before having your temperature checked. Please note that scheduling for social distancing is always available.

What About Sterilization and Protection?

Every day we open our office, we take infection control, sterilization, and your safety seriously.

  • We’ve recently installed barriers or sneeze shields at the reception area, with hand sanitizer available and accessible for every patient.
  • Our current sterilization process involves wiping all operatory surfaces with medical-grade disinfectants and sprays after each treatment.
  • We also have a high-tech air purification system in our treatment rooms, complete with powerful HEPA filters.
  • We’ve also invested in new, high-speed evacuation systems for your added comfort and safety while in our treatment rooms.
  • We sterilize our instruments in an autoclave, have barriers on handles and headrests, and throw away any single-use items.
  • Please know that we’re doing our best to protect you and our team, so we’ve allowed for extra time between patient appointments to accommodate for a higher level of sterilization.
  • For the foreseeable future, all team members will wear masks for the entire patient appointment. We will utilize level 3 masks, face shields, N-95/KN-95 masks, and gowns which provide the highest level of protection to us and our patients.

As things continue to change every day, so will we. We’ve all shown how determined and resilient we can be in these trying times. There’s nothing we won’t do to make you feel comfortable and secure when you’re with us — now and always.

We’re here to help you and guide you every step of the way. Our infection control protocols are up-to-date, safe, and in place because we care so much about the health of you and your family. At Wark Dental Group, there’s nothing we wouldn’t do to protect and ensure your health and safety.
